What is the Year of Vocations?
The Year of Vocations began Thursday, August 4th, with the Feast of St. John Vianney who is the patron saint of parish priests. We have many children in our parish and we believe God may be calling some of them to consider service to the Church as a priest or consecrated religious sister.
We will be sponsoring several events during the Year of Vocations including distributing vocation material via social media and inviting in a guest speaker to deliver a seminar on vocations. We also hope we can intensify our prayer for an increase in vocations.
