Eastern Washington University Choir and Orchestra Concert Monday, November 21, 2022; 7:30 pm Eastern Washington University Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir will perform Samuel Barber’s famous “Agnus Dei,” alto arias from Handel’s Messiah, Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 2 in G Major, and other choral and orchestra works.
Advent Sunday Vespers Sunday, November 27, 2022; 4:30 pm Sunday, December 4, 2022; 4:30 pm Sunday, December 11, 2022; 4:30 pm Sunday, December 18, 2022; 4:30 pm Join the Cathedral’s Schola Cantorum each Sunday evening during Advent to sing Vespers. Vespers consists of a hymn, psalmody, and a choral motet. The service lasts less than 30 minutes. All are welcome to sing and pray with the Cathedral community.
Festival of Carols Sunday, January 8, 2023; 2:30 pm Continuing this annual Cathedral tradition, the Cathedral Choir, Schola Cantorum, Diocesan Youth Choir, and instrumentalists will present music and Scripture proclaiming the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior on Epiphany Sunday.
A Concert of Renaissance Music Sunday, March 12, 2023, 2:30 pm String players from the Spokane Symphony will perform music of the mid-to late-Renaissance in a historically informed performance style.
